Highlights - Halloween

Halloween in Canada is a much bigger deal than in Australia.
Pumpkins get carved, houses get decorated, people get dressed up and party...

Meet Queen Elizabeth I.

And her Orc bodyguard

And who is that sexy thing standing in the middle?

"Boo!"

Her Maj. on the the throne.

Just don't say his name three times or you'll be stuck with him all night...

Zombies!

More Zombies!!!

Never fear! Mrs Boggs, the school principal is here to sort them out.
(No, I wouldn't mess with her either...)

Time to go Trick or Treating!

Of course we had to take a Canadian with us to show us how it is done.
Yep, they don't come more Canadian than Jen :-)

"Look - I know where I'm going - we don't need to pull over and ask directions, ok?"

Trick or treating at the mall.
All the shops were giving away yummy treats - a lot less cold than outside.

Speaking of outside - time to hit the neighbourhood.

Lots of people went to heaps of effort to decorate.

Sometimes even more than they did for Christmas :-)

So we're all looted up - time to head home and count the spoils.

And boy, were there spoils :-)
