Chimos!

Sunday was ultra hockey day.

As we said before, the girls that live downstairs play hockey.

It turns out that they play for the Edmonton Chimos, Edmonton's team in the Western Womens Hockey League.

Here's Jen (#27) and Laura (#5) with the kids and Kristy Lou.
(We asked them to leave their helmets on - they were still salivating with blood lust straight after the game - and we didn't want to take any chances with the kids :-)

And the game? Well it was against the Minnesota Whitecaps. Very exciting stuff. The speed, the skills, the control - wow!

The best part was that in this Premier League women's hockey game, we knew two of the players - awesome!

Oh yeah, the score? One all after extra time, so the Edmonton Chimos consolidate their number 2 position on the ladder - Go Chimos!
